The Foremost Institute in Shingkhar Lauri
The Yonphu Dungyued lineage, descended from Terton Ratna Lingpa, established its spiritual seat at Yonphula and later expanded to Shingkhar Lauri, while Phagchok Samdrup Choling Gonpa, founded in 1973 under the prophecy of H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche, became a major center in Eastern Bhutan upholding the Pelling and Dudjom Terser traditions with around 200 monks dedicated to preserving and practicing the Dharma.
